Welcome to the website of Cleveland Beekeepers Association (A registered charity in England No.1168761 and an area association member of the British Beekeepers' Association).
We are a friendly, thriving association of over 100 beekeepers living in the Cleveland, North Yorkshire and County Durham areas of the North East of England, on the northern edge of the North Yorkshire Moors. Our website name www.teesbees.co.uk derives from the River Tees, which flows through the region. Our interests are:

If you are not in the Tees valley you may find it more convenient to contact your local association, in the north, Durham, Newcastle and Tyneside, in the south, Northallerton, Richmond and Yorkshire, in the west Darlington.
If your question is primarily about bees (bumble bees, swarms etc.) rather than beekeping you may find our Swarms page helpful.
We run beekeeping courses each spring and autumn however in recent years these have proved very popular and fill up very quickly.
If you are interested in taking up beekeeping or becoming a member you are welcome to attend one of our programme  of meetings throughout the year.
We provide beekeeping displays for the Cleveland and Stokesley shows. If you would like such a display at your event we are able to support a small number of extra events if given enough advance notice by mailing us at  diary@teesbees.co.uk.
